Sunshine Sailing Australia has announced it will be competing in this years Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race! We are entering our Hanse 400e Eressea into this prestigious and famous yacht race. Anyone who has the desire to experience Australia's most noted race should contact us directly as spaces are limited. The race program will include a 10 day race training qualifyer early December, a Safety and Sea Survival Course, accomodation in Hobart and return airflight. Racing Programs
Sunshine Sailing Australia racing program offers every individual the opportunity to become part of a yacht racing team campaigning in three of Australia's most famous yacht races, learn to race/sail in either the Sydney to Hobart, Brisbane to Gladstone or Hamilton Island Race Week.
The races and regattas entered are high-profile events, well-known Australia-wide. Training and racing will take place on our cruiser/racer performance yacht Eressea, a Hanse 400e. Our qualified and experienced skipper will train, motivate and lead the team to the highest possible success!
We specialise in all aspects of yacht racing, from training, race entry management, through to race performance. Sunshine Sailing Australia offers people with a passion for racing the chance to challenge, educate and enjoy themselves.
Our Hanse 400e is highly competitive and chosen to meet the requirements of each race and regatta. The Hanse provides exhilarating and intense racing. The Hanse (renowned around the world) is perfect for competitive inshore and offshore racing. A cruiser/racer with comfort, performance and style.
These high profile yacht races have developed into the most popular of all ocean-racing events in Australia. These races offers competitors a strategic challenge as they race past unsurpassed scenic coastlines, prior to arriving in some of Australia's most popular coastal cities. Both the Brisbane to Gladstone and Hamilton Island Race Week are now well established and are considered to be the 'warm water' alternatives to the Sydney to Hobart. These race adventures cover many nautical miles of Australian coastline. This represents a great introduction to offshore and ocean racing in a fun and safe environment, don't miss out!

Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race
April 6-8th 2012, $1650 includes race training weekend.
This race offers a great blend of old and new. The course and steady trade wind breezes provide great racing for the latest high-tech mono-hull sleds and the super fast offshore catamarans, yet there is a unique history associated with this internationally famed classic.
As Queensland's premier blue water classic, its significance was recognised when this race was selected as the feature aquatic sport event for the 'Centenary of Federation' celebrations in 2001. The 308 nautical mile ocean classic will run for the 64th time in 2012 and is one of Australia's major sporting events over the Easter weekend.
Hamilton Island Race Week
August 18-25, 2012, $2500
Welcoming cocktail party, Opening Fireworks, Moet & Chandon Lunch, Golf on Dent Island, Audi car giveaway and Audi Drive Challenge and Race Week Presentation Dinner, its your chioce! Be a part of all this or just sit back on your yacht and take it easy! And don't forget, we need to go sailing as well! Friday night twilight races
4:00 to 7pm Friday twilights [summer only] $95 per person, max 7 guests.
Experience the adventure of sailing with one of our twilight yacht races as the sun sets over the Hinterland! You don't need any experience, only a desire to feel the excitement of sailing a beautiful yacht in one of the world's finest cruising areas. These very popular short races provide you with a unique opportunity to extend your sailing experience.
