Yachting events can also be organised on Moreton Bay.
Whilst there may be only one wining team, everyone is a winner, taking away an experience that will be talked about at the bar that night, the next day, week, month maybe even until next year when the experience can be relived.
Team Sailing
The stage is set for a showdown, teams are formed the competition is going to be hot! Team Sailing provides a great environment to heighten group interaction, communication, team bonding and team building in a dynamic, fun and safe environment.
Team Sailing has been developed as a great, fun team activity without the intensity of a full team-building program and is referred to as a “soft team building” activity that will provide a sense of achievement for all participants especially those who have not partaken in yachting previously.
Team Building
The warm waters of the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay provide a perfect year round training ground for an adventurous program. The program content is tailored to suit your businesses needs, objectives and goals.
The Team Building sailing program is intended to focus on the performance of individual and team skills in an experiential learning environment that promotes teamwork, communication, leadership, and change management to mention a few.
Yachting provides a natural vehicle for team based learning and bonding, a number of key crew positions on each yacht have to coordinate to successfully navigate and sail the yacht on a course to safely get to the planned destination or finish line.
Your staff will benefit and grow from the experience of this invigorating challenge in a fun and safe environment.

The Leadership Challenge
Arriving in the late afternoon for the first evening aboard the vessel, a briefing will be conducted to familiarise your team with the surroundings and set the seen for the next 48 hours of adventure. How those 48 hours unfold will be determined based on the goals and objectives of the event and the prevailing conditions.
Crew teams can be made up of up to 6 guests and a Skipper onboard. A total number of 12 guests can be accommodated per event on 2 yachts. A facilitator is recommended.
Dinghy Sailing Regatta
This is normally a Half-Day Event.
Your team is divided into crews to sail our stable sailing dinghies, they need to learn quickly how to work together to complete the course in the safe waters around the Maroochy Sailing Club on the Maroochy River. It’s very hands on, sometimes wet and an enormous amount of fun!
Custom Format
The custom format provides unlimited options in designing a program whether it is a one-day event or multiple days over several months, e.g. a 2hr session per week. With the assistance of a professional facilitator, the program design and execution can be tailored to suit the needs, objectives and goals of your business.
Industry Challenge
Sunshine Sailing Australia offers a great fun, sailing experience for industry groups that can be used to entertain clients, or as a reward incentive or team building opportunity for employees. The event is aimed to challenge and get the adrenaline running whilst having fun in a safe environment.
The Corporate Challenge can also be used for industry networking and promotion of your corporate/business identity

Format:
Teams battle it out on the water for a chance to win the “Coporate Challange Cup” on board our sports yachts. Available all year round this can be held as an inter company or inter industry challenge. Dates can be organised to suit your company schedule and duration of events is dictated partly by the number of teams and available time.
Coaching will be given aboard each yacht with the aim of getting the best performance out of your team and teaching essential team sailing skills.
The Corporate Challange can run with a minium of 2 teams comprising of up to 4 crew members each. A standard round robin competition for 2 teams would be run over 2 half-day events or a full day.
Company t-shirts, Catering and photography opportunities can be arranged.
